Kentucky Oaks 138 Barn Notes
Karlovy Vary, who will be ridden by James Graham, galloped more than a mile on Thursday for trainer Rusty Arnold. In addition, the filly, who wired in the Ashland, had schooling sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday. She’s 20-1 on the ML.
Wayne Catalano-trained Sacristy, a 50-1 ML shot despite a very nice career, galloped 1-1/2 miles on Thursday in preparation for her Oaks race, her first two-turn bid. Mike smith takes the mount and he’s looking for his first Kentucky Oaks win.

Morning line favorite Grace Hall (5-2) galloped 1-1/8 miles for trainer Anthony Dutrow on Thursday morning. The second place finisher in the BC Juve Filly last November, Grace Hall will be ridden by Javier Castellano.
On Fire Baby, the co-second favorite with Broadway’s Alibi, galloped a little more than a mile this morning for trainer Gary Hartlage. Veteran pilot Joe Johnson takes the mount for the fillyu breaking out of post one in the Kentucky Oaks.

Amie’s Dini, a $3000 purchase, galloped 1-1/2 miles on Thursday for trainer Ron Moquett. Jon Court rides the filly, who starts from the 13 post.
Summer Applause galloped 1-1/2 miles early today. She comes in after finishing a disappointing second in the $500,000 Fair Grounds Oaks (GII). GarretGomez rides for trainer Bret Calhoun.

Wayne Lukas’ Colonial Empress galloped 1-1/2 miles on Thursday. She’s a daughter of Empire Maker and will be ridden by Corey Nakatani. The 50-1 ML filly breaks from the twelve post.
Broadway’s Alibi is 4-1 along with On Fire Baby. She seeks her fifth straight win after finishing second in her career debut at Delaware last summer. Todd Pletcher is the trainer.
